Today's Animal in Need

I am told she has shown `some' aggression at the shelter and especially with food.

We hardly have any volunteers at our shelter because of the remote location and
have no one to dedicate the time to work with her. I do know a volunteer
was able to give her a bath last weekend, so she can't be all that bad.

I have also fed her treats through her cage bars and she sits nice for me to
take them. She doesn't show any aggresion towards me. The ACO will turn her
over to a private rescue that has the resources to work with her.
She has not been taken to the vet yet because the money isn't going to be spent
if she is being put down. I will personally pay out of my own pocket for her
spay and vaccines if a reputable private rescue will take her that can work
with her. I already have 4 shelter dogs with problems and work full time
and cannot take on anymore.
Pet Finder has this posting about Beatrice:

Beatrice and  Brandy were both found wandering on Trimtown Road in Scituate on 10/1.   No collars and no one has come forward to claim them or report them missing.   Most likely, both were dumped from the same home.    If you recognize either of these dogs and know who may have abandoned them, please contact animal control.  It is against the law to abandon an animal.    Beatrice and  Brandy will be seen by the vet soon and will be spayed if not already, vaccinated and HW/Lyme tested.  Both are adult females in good condition, and don’t appear to be old.  Anyone interested in adopting, please call the shelter for more info or stop by during adoption hours to meet them.
