Dolphin rescue

The dolphin approaches the diver requesting assistance with fishing hook and line tangled around its pectoral fin.

Yes, the dolphin asks for help.

And got it.

  1. This is wonderful. Dolphins are incredibly interesting. There are stories of them helping ships through certains passageways that were quite rocky and refusing to help ships where the crew had shot at them or another dolphin.

A friend of a friend moved to Hawaii and used to go out to a little cove. A mother dolphin started coming to meet her, with the little one in tow. After two or three meetings, she started dropping off the baby and coming back later to pick it up! I got such a kick out of that.

    1. I love that story about your friend baby sitting the dolphin! What a treat!

They are very special animals - my screen name is a combination of the Spanish word for dolphin and the Oracle at Delphi.
