My kind of garden

If you are using row crops, there is no reason the rows need to be linear, you can design a non linear garden. Cane wigwam will support pole beans, onions and vegetables are growing in circular plantings.

Note the boxwood hedge skirting a larger hedge with some topiary in this garden.

  1. One year we had our plans all drawn up to make a Native American Wheel Garden. We did our research, staked out the area, did all the manual labor and when we were all finished instead of looking like a Medicine looked like a classroom full of preschoolers planted a bunch of stuff then ran over it with tricycles. Now I just throw those plants in the ground and hope for the best.

Oh, look Toto - we have visitors!
