Today's Animal in Need - JoJo

Published on Apr 8, 2013

JoJo is a very handsome Labrador Retriever mix who came to us when his previous owner could no longer take care of him. The previous owners had him since he was born as they still own his mother but their house just wasn't big enough. JoJo is very sweet and gentle if you can get him to calm down. This guy has a ton of energy to burn and will do well in a home where he gets plenty of exercise and training.

It seems that JoJo has led a sheltered life and hasn't been exposed to a lot of different things so will excel with a good amount of socialization. He becomes nervous when he is introduced to new things and can be wary of strangers at first. We're hoping that with his nice sociability, youth, and good temperament he will adjust well to her new family and home. We're not sure how JoJo will be with cats but can test him here at the shelter if you're interested in adopting him and have cats in your home.

We are recommending him to a mature, quieter home without children under the age of 12, where the comfort of daily routines will help him blossom. Come check out this sweet guy and give him the second chance he deserves!
