See Spot Rescued 

Just TWO more days till our Hair of the Dog happy hour fundraiser at LITM (140 Newark Ave, Jersey City) this Wednesday (Feb 6) from 6p-9p.

Leading up to the event, we've been featuring some of the amazing dogs that are currently looking for forever homes. All funds raised at Hair of the Dog go towards caring for these dogs and rescuing more pups! Our goal is to rescue a dog a day in 2013 & you can easily help by coming by on Wednesday and having a drink with us! We'll be raffling off prizes generously donated by local businesses all night!

Today's dog of the day is Jojo!! Jojo is a handsome & gentle red nose pit bull terrier. Jojo is great with kids and all kinds of dogs! He is a total CUDDLE BUG, loving, happy and playful. Jojo is looking to complete someone's family, he wants nothing more than a loving forever home.

Mission

See Spot Rescued has a single purpose, to provide a permanent loving home for every homeless dog. We strive to make the best possible match between the family and the dog, based on previous history, breed and experience. We work from the premise that each of these four legged furry beasts are our clients. Our mission is to find them a lifetime companion whom will provide them eternal unconditional love.

See Spot Rescued focuses on saving dogs from high kill shelters in the South, specifically in rural North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Kentucky. No matter their age, breed, or health, if they’ve come into contact with a See Spot Rescued representative, then they can rest assured we will care for them.

See Spot Rescued is an all volunteer non-profit rescue organization - we are NOT a shelter facility. We are all volunteers whom also work full time jobs. We are regularly juggling our time coordinating the ongoing rescue, vetting, transport and adoption of multiple dogs at once. All dogs rescued from the shelter are vetted at our expense. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. In all cases we have also de-wormed and de-flea-ed them. In all cases if the dog faces serious illnesses we have also fully treated them no matter the medical expense.
