I love it! Thank you for the grin! Fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteI never tire of watching herding dogs. I think their abilities are amazing. I've had two dogs now, not border collies, but with a little bit of herding instincts, that nose, right in the right place on my calf, telling me where to go... fun haiku, pics, and video. The cartoon is a hoot!
ReplyDeletedear delphyne,
ReplyDeleteyou are so full of love for the animals in our world! loving your compassion towards all things great and small.
thanks for your warmth and humor at haiku my heart!
I love seeing a dog run. It is pure joy. If only we could all run so free and feel it.
ReplyDeletewonderful photos and haiku... my dog is a standard poodle, she is 9.5 and still runs fast and with grace... a streak of fur! She too oddly has some herding qualities, she finds out cats when they are hiding and encourages them back into the light:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the rush I got reading your poem. The vision of those dogs streaking by just inspire joy!
ReplyDeleteYou had me right away with that first line... what a wonderful image you picture both with the photos as in the haiku!
ReplyDelete...Inner wolf stalks prey - so true! I'm more familiar with Shelties and their herding antics...what hard working sweeties, all! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThere is an inner wolf in even the smallest dog. A delightful haiku!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful, those eyes would mesmerise anyone! x
ReplyDeleteI hope you have already thought about this before you decide on your dog run cleaning and sterilizing your dog’s living space is just as important as cleaning your own living space.
ReplyDeleteIt is very good and nice collection. Love to see this. I am looking for more, can you provide me the more collection? Thanks.
