Today in women’s history innovative artist, Georgia O’Keeffe, was born in 1887. O’Keeffe is remembered for her paintings of magnified flowers. She started pursuing art in the early 1900s, taking classes all around the country. By the mid-1920s, O’Keeffe was already considered one of the most important American artists and is still believed to be so today.
