Today's Animal in Need

Jessica was *already* saved from selling to a kill buyer (for just $75), and prior, she likely suffered a lifetime of abuse. She is now an excellent companion, FREE if approved.

But since she's "safe" now, some will say Jessica doesn't need/deserve her own home...after waiting with HRU for TWO YEARS. We think they're wrong...and her adoption makes room to save another in need, so please share!
ADOPTION SPECIAL: Jessica comes with her own leather halter and nameplate!

Complete a successful 60 day trial period and you'll also take home a bucket of supplies OR a $50 Tractor Supply gift card!

JESSICA- 19 year-old 14.2hh Standardbred mare- companion/pasture pet only

Jessica was likely a former Amish buggy horse who was saved from slaughter via New Holland auction. Due to her abusive past, she needs time to warm up to new people, but is overall a sweet girl.

Jess' ideal home would be with an experienced female adult who is loving, understanding, and will give her lots of peppermints, scratches, and attention. Jessica is an absolutely excellent companion for other horses/ponies.

Located in Allentown, New Jersey area.
