  1. Oh my, what a wonderful image and haiku. Blue becomes my go-to color in winter while the earth rests from green! Thank you for sharing this bit of blue!

    1. Thanks, Barbara - blue isn't my color, but I do love it when the leaves have fallen. The bare trees against a blue sky is gorgeous to me!

  7. just yesterday the dark bare arms of a distant tree caught a huge bright rainbow. i love acknowledging the language of love in the natural world. heart shaped rocks, shooting stars, rainbows, the first flowers of spring, each bird song calling in a new day.
thank you for your offering here which is also deeply rooted in the language of love. gorgeous photograph, and your words a kind reminder that heaven resides within and without.

  9. We all need such beauty today, and tonight as I can not sleep... heaven on earth, yes, yes, yes, Stella Maris was my grandmother's performing name, and I love to think of her, the stars, shining down on us all, reflected in your haiku, in this blue water of love...

    1. I had a hard time falling asleep last night, too, Lea - the horror of that shooting and the ensuing grief permeated so much of Life yesterday.

What kind of performing arts was your grandmother involved with? sounds so interesting!
